| Why do Somalilanders hate the rest of Somalis? Siad Barre was solely responsible for the massacres in northern Somalia. He massacred many southern Somalis too, and he oppressed all of Somalia, hence the civil war. Do you think we had it better just because we are southerners? The people in the pictures had to participate in those nationalistic parades, if they didn't go they would have been seen as anti the government and put in jail. |
